Black Orchid's Burlesque Academy has been teaching budding burly starlette's for 3 years around South Africa, and is proud to present The teaseOrama Graduation Showcase for the very first time! The girls 'n gals are all working hard on producing Burlesque inspired shows that are bound to leave you giggling, gawking and yelling out for more!
With over 15 students and 6 professional Burlesque and Boylesque Artistes performing for your pleasure in one of the most gorgeous and theatrical venues in Cape Town, this promises to be a night filled with bawdy humour, dazzling costumes and the same glamorous hurly burly gaiety that you have come to expect from Black Orchid Burlesque. Featuring Black Orchid's very own troupe: *Mistress Melody *Jessy Jester *Coco Hart Monroe *Miss Behave *Cheeky Cherry *Madame Malice *Lady Countessa and of course...a guest appearance by Diva Disastar! The Ruby Robins will keep your toes tapping with their lively renditions of old favorites, while the 3 distinct and adorable characters entertain you during intermission. Date- 31st August 2011 Venue- Vaudeville Supper Club Time- Doors open 7pm and show starts at 8pm. Door- R150 per person, includes a complimentary drink and a sumptuous platter for 2.
